Good Books – June 2009
June 4, 2009What is BEA?
Book Expo America. It’s a big trade show where publishers meet with their colleagues, writers, booksellers, teachers and librarians to talk about upcoming books and trends.
A bunch of your favorite librarians went this year, and we got to meet all sorts of awesome writers. Like…
Sarah Dessen (Along for the Ride)
Gordon Korman (Pop)
Melissa Marr (Fragile Eternity)
Ridley Pearson (Kingdom Keepers II)
Suzanne Collins (Catching Fire)
Kristin Cashore (Fire)
And the best part…? We got autographed copies of all their new books – some are so new, they haven’t even come out yet (for example, Scott Westerfeld’s eagerly anticipated follow-up to the Uglies series, Leviathan.) And we are giving them away – raffling them off as a part of our Summer Reading Game.
So, if you want to win any of these books, you better sign up today!
