The Fairfield Public Library Teen Services department is proud to present it’s eleventh summer series for teens, with events, volunteer opportunities and our Challenge game. The game, which is a bit different than what many libraries offer, is designed to foster interest in all sorts of subjects and art forms, and inspire a commitment to giving back to the community.

Players are asked to join and create a profile on a private, closed social network in order to play. All players must be approved by the Teen librarians, and activity is closely monitored all summer long. This method not only gives young people experience navigating social media, but allows them to comment and support each other’s gameplay in a positive, constructive way.

If you have any questions about the Summer Challenge, library events, or school summer assignments, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us (jlaseman@fplct.org or 203.255.7308)!
